Giveaways, food and beverage specials, entertainment and more 

Battle Creek, Mich. – The Battle Creek Bombers are excited to announce their full promotional schedule for the 2016 season. The schedule is loaded with fireworks, giveaways, entertainment acts, and food and beverage specials.

Bobbleheads

The Bombers will give away three bobbleheads in 2016: CTI Mechanical’s Moebi Wan Skeeter (June 18), OnStaff Group’s “New” Moe Skeeter (July 23) and Brad Gray Auto Body’s Jordan Zimmermann (August 13). Bobbleheads are only available for season ticketholders and 5-game pack holders.

Special jerseys

The Bombers will don an alternate jersey on weekend home games. The jersey has black, white and Bombers' red horizontal stripes, as well as a 10-year anniversary logo. Fans can get their own replica alternate jersey by visiting Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) in Battle Creek. Game-worn alternate jerseys will be auctioned off on August 13.

On June 18, Bombers will wear a 10-year anniversary jersey, celebrating a decade in Battle Creek. The jersey is solid black with an anniversary logo on the front. The jersey will be auctioned off at the June 18 game, with proceeds benefitting Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity. The June 18 contest is presented by MCCU.

The Post Fruity Pebbles jersey will be worn July 9 during Cereal City Night, presented by the Battle Creek Enquirer. Fans can purchase their own Post Fruity Pebbles game-worn jersey during a silent auction, which will take place during the July 9 contest at C.O. Brown Stadium.

Allen Harmon & Auto Owners Insurance will continue their tradition of sponsoring a Strike Out Cancer night at C.O. Brown Stadium, complete with a special jersey. Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the July 30 game. Proceeds benefit cancer research.

Giveaways

On Opening Day, May 31, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a magnet schedule. Season ticketholders and 5-game pack holders will receive their own Bombers cereal bowl, sponsored by Meijer, on July 9. On July 3, the Bombers will celebrate Independence Day with their annual Red, White and Boom! fireworks show. The first 500 fans will receive a Territorial Brewing Company pint glass. In honor of the “new” mascot this season, the Bombers are giving the first 500 fans a Moe Skeeter poster on July 8. The first 500 fans on July 29 will receive a team photo. This season’s four-part baseball card series will be given to the first 500 fans at July 2, July 22, July 30 and August 12 games.

Weekly specials

Family Funday Sundays will consist of family-oriented themes. Fans can meet the players and coaches before each Sunday homestand during a pre-game autograph session. Kids get to run the bases on these dates as well. Thirsty Thursdays, presented by Labatt, allow fans 21 and older to enjoy $2 domestic and $3 craft beers all night. Every Friday night home game will include Front Row Fireworks, presented by The Melges Group of Raymond James. Super Saturdays, courtesy of OnStaff Group, give fans the best promotions, giveaways and entertainment acts of the season.

Themed nights

Fans can look forward to themed nights such as Star Wars night (June 18); Second Amendment appreciation night, presented by Freedom Firearms (June 24); Cereal City night and Hometown Heroes (July 9), presented by Battle Creek Enquirer; St. Patrick’s Day in July, presented by McGonigles (July 22); Bark in the Park (July 23); military appreciation night, presented by Dan Henry Distributing (July 23); Chamber of Commerce night, presented by Schlotzsky’s (July 29); ladies night and Augtober Fest (August 12); and fan appreciation night (August 14).

Fireworks

Every Bombers Friday night game will feature a fireworks show (June 24, July 8, July 22, July 29 and August 12) after the game, courtesy of The Melges Group of Raymond James. The Bombers’ largest fireworks display will be the annual Red, White and Boom! show on July 3.

Entertainment acts and celebrity appearance

June 18: Inflatamaniacs. Join Hollywood, Ice, G Money and Munchie for a night of fun and pranks! Standing at nearly 8 feet tall, this larger-than-life crew adds to the ballpark fun.

July 9: The Amazing Christopher. Watch The Amazing Christopher and his four friends as they put on their dancing shoes and leave the audience in awe.

July 23: Reggy the Purple Party Dude. Come on out and see Reggy take the field by storm. When this fun-loving prankster is around, fans of all ages get into the partying spirit!

August 13: Dave “The Bullet” Smith. David has lived up to his nickname for over 11 years as the highest-flying human cannonball on Earth! Watch as this daredevil sails across C.O. Brown Stadium in style.

June 18: Matt Giraud. Matt Giraud is a singer-songwriter and musician from Kalamazoo, Mich., and the fifth place finalist of the eighth season of reality television series American Idol.

The team’s single game tickets go on sale Friday, April 29, but fans can guarantee tickets to the team’s top weekend dates of the season by purchasing the Bombers new 5-game pack. Five-game packs are $59 and include reserved seats at the team’s five best games with all-you-can-eat food and beverages, along with guaranteed giveaways.
