Alexandria took part one of their day-night doubleheader between Willmar, winning 9-1, highlighted by their starter Graylon Brown's gem.

Brown commanded the entire game throughout, throwing all nine innings, surrendering a run on seven hits, while striking out a season-best eight batters. The junior from Angelo State lowered his ERA an entire point, dropping to 3.67, while improving his record to 1-2 on the season. In addition to striking out a stellar 25 batters through 27 innings, Brown has allowed just three earned runs through his last 19 1/3 innings pitched.

The Blue Anchors will look to build off their recent success, hosting St. Cloud for a single game battle scheduled for 7:05 PM.
