The Mallards grinded out a series split between Kalamazoo, defeating the Growlers 7-4, paced by their shortstop Tony Butler providing an impressive day at the plate, as two Mallards batters take home back-to-back Player of the Night honors. 

Butler posted a 2-for-4 night, scoring once and a season-high four RBIs. The junior from Madison College has been a solid piece of the lineup playing for his hometown Northwoods League team, holding a .247 batting average, .340 on-base percentage, with 10 RBIs and 6 stolen bases. 

Butler and the Mallards look to build upon their win tonight as they host Wisconsin for a two-game series, starting tomorrow at 5:05 PM.
