The Growlers took game two of their Friday doubleheader, shutting out the Chinooks in the nightcap, and winning by a narrow margin of 1-0, due to a walk off infield single in the 9th inning.

Starter Shane Bryant was terrific off the mound tonight, tossing seven scoreless innings, giving up just one hit, one walk, and struck out seven, but factored a no-decision as he received no run support from his offense. The right-hander from Purdue has solidified the title of becoming the Kalamazoo ace, owning a 2.83 ERA, striking out 26 batters through 41 1/3 innings and boasting a 2-1 record.

The Growlers will look to improve on their 1-3 record as they face off against Lakeshore for a July 4th doubleheader, starting at 5:05 PM.
