Duluth remained the North's hottest team, shutting out the MoonDogs for their fifth consecutive victory, defeating Mankato 5-0 as they were backed by a strong start from Mitchell Bauer, who earned his second Pitcher of the Night honor.

Bauer shut down the Mankato lineup over 6 2/3 innings, allowing no runs and just one hit, while punching out four batters and improving to 4-1 on the year. The sophomore righty from Minnesota State Mankato has been one of the more consistent arms in the Duluth rotation holding a 4.02 ERA, holding opposing batters to a .240 average and 24 strikeouts.

The Huskies will look to improve their win streak to six games, travelling to Rochester for a new series beginning at 7:05 PM.
