The Willmar Stingers shut out the Madison Mallards 2-0 on Wednesday night with a big game from their starting pitcher. In his third appearance of the season, Willmar's righthander Caleb Arbetier (Murray State) threw a complete-game shutout and allowed four hits and one walk with four strikeouts to pick up the win and earn the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
Willmar will host the Waterloo Bucks on Thursday night at 7:05.
