The Eau Claire Express took down the St. Cloud Rox 8-4 on Tuesday night on the road to advance to the Summer Collegiate World Series. Eau Claire's rightfielder Kyle Marinconz (Cal Poly) finished 3-for-5 at the plate with a triple, double, two runs scored, one RBI and one walk to be named the Northwoods League Player of the Night.
Eau Claire will play Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday night at 7:05 in Game 1 of the World Series.
