Zack Plunkett and Noah Miller headed to Green Bay

Green Bay, Wis – The Green Bay Bullfrogs have announced the signings of two players from the University of Arkansas to the 2017 season roster, Zack Plunkett and Noah Miller.

Zack Plunkett, a 6’2”, 220-pound catcher from Hurst, Texas will begin his junior season with the Razorbacks this spring. Plunkett joined the Razorbacks after playing in back-to-back College World Series with Texas Christian University. This past season at TCU, Plunkett appeared in 18 games with six starts as a catcher and posted a perfect fielding percentage. In 25 plate appearances, Plunkett tallied six runs and had an on base percentage of .355. He will likely redshirt the 2017 season with the Razorbacks and have two years of eligibility left.

Plunkett will be joined with another Razorback, Noah Miller, a 6’4”, 180-pound, right handed pitcher from Van Buren, Arkansas. Miller is underway as a freshman this season with the Razorbacks. Last season at Van Buren High School, Miller went 3-3 with two saves and a 2.96 ERA in over 50 innings pitched. Miller was named to the 7A All-Conference Team for these marks.

The Razorbacks started their 2017 campaign this past weekend with a series sweep against Miami (Ohio).

The Bullfrogs will open their season at home Tuesday, May 30 at 6:35 p.m. against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
