Terrell McCall and Darren Kelly are headed to Green Bay

Green Bay, Wis – The Green Bay Bullfrogs have announced the signing of two players from Alabama State University for the 2017 season; Terrell McCall and Darren Kelly.

Terrell McCall, a 6’0”, 185-pound pitcher from Lithonia, Georgia will head to Wisconsin this season to join the Bullfrogs. McCall is in sophomore at Alabama State and is already 1-1 on the year. McCall has 16 strikeouts in three appearances this season, including five coming against the University of Iowa. As a freshman, McCall appeared in six games as a relief pitcher, with six strikeouts in four innings pitched.

Joining McCall will be Darren Kelly, a 6’3”, 210-pound pitcher from Ocala, Florida. Kelly is underway with his junior season at Alabama State. Kelly has pitched in five games, recording four strikeouts. He has been active in the Alabama State bullpen since he was a freshman. As a sophomore, Kelly posted a 4.33 ERA, with 44 strikeouts over twenty-seven innings.

Alabama State is currently 5-8 on the year, with pivotal wins versus Iowa, the University of Ohio and a series sweep over Alabama A&M last weekend.

The Bullfrogs will open their season at home Tuesday, May 30 at 6:35 p.m. against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
