Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have two additions to the 2017 roster. Josh Evans and Tyler Garam of Greensboro College will be joining the team this summer.

Evans, a 6’ 0” junior will bring his skills to the mound.  Evans has 26 strikeouts in 61.1 IP and a 4-2 record with the Pride so far this season.  He finished the 2016 season with 40 IP and 12 strikeouts. Evans is originally from Monroe, NC.

Garam, a 6’4” freshman will contribute to the pitching rotation as well. Garam has 34 strikeouts in 44 IP on the season. He was a four-time letterman at Wharton High School. Garam is originally from Tampa, Fla.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks’ home opener is Wednesday, May 31, 2017. All ticket packages, group tickets, and single game tickets are now on sale for the upcoming 2017 season. The Woodchucks are also excited to be hosting the 2017 Northwoods League All-Star Game, presented by Ascension.
