Brent Killam (Georgetown) earned pitcher of the night after throwing the final 1.1 scoreless for the Rox as he earned the save in their game one victory over Battle Creek. Killam began the game as the DH and after three at bats, he was moved to pitcher with two outs in the top of the eighth. He inherited bases load and got the batter to strike out and end any threat. Killam then threw a perfect ninth with three strike outs to end the game. He didn't allow a single baserunner and got every batter to strike out to put St. Cloud within one win of winning the World Series.
