The Northwoods League Summer Collegiate World Series is tied at one game a piece with a decisive game three coming tomorrow between St. Cloud and Battle Creek. The Rox took an early two-run lead, but Battle Creek proceeded to score three unanswered including the game-winner from a wild pitch in the tenth.

St. Cloud 2, Battle Creek 3 (10 Innings)

The Battle Creek Bombers tied game two in the eighth and went on to win it in the tenth to force a game three. The Rox scored right away in the top half of the opening inning when Keaton Kringlen (BYU) knocked in a run from a single. Ricardo Sanchez (Arkansas-Pine Bluff) added another for St. Cloud in the fifth from an RBI double. Battle Creek got on the board in the sixth when Tom Stoffel (Virginia Tech) reached on an error and scored Gavin Homer (McHenry CC). The Rox committed another error in the eighth which scored Nikola Vasic (McHenry CC) to tie it up. Neither team scored in the ninth, but the Bombers put three guys on in the bottom of the tenth and Vasic scored the winning run from a wild pitch.
