The Duluth Huskies (13-10) lose their second game in a row against the Rochester Honkers 7-6.

Alex Strizak started for the Huskies, pitching 5.0 innings while giving up 5 hits, 4 runs, and recording four strikeouts. The Huskies got the game’s first runs in the second inning when Elliot Barzilli started the inning with a leadoff single. Cal Stevenson knocked in Barzilli with a sacrifice fly. The Honkers answered right back in the 4th inning with 3 runs. Joe DeRoche-Duffin hit a bomb to deep center field for the 3 runs in the 4th.

Cal Stevenson answered the homerun with a 3 run blast of his own. The Honkers scored a run in the 5th and 6th but the Huskies answered back with a run of their own in the 6th. The Honkers were able to pull away from the Huskies with 2 more runs in the 7th to make it a 7-6 game. The Honkers never looked back and were able to take the win.

Ryan Losman ended up with the loss for the Huskies. Spencer Greer ended the night with the win for the Honkers. Brac Warren ended with the save for the Honkers as well. The Huskies finish the series against the Rochester Honkers on Tuesday July 28th at 6:35pm.
