The locally owned  Duluth Huskies Baseball Club is pleased to announce a collaboration with WKLK-FM 96.5 radio to bring area fans all of the 2017 Huskies games to their radios.

Huskies owner Michael Rosensweig said,” We are very excited to usher in a new era of service to our baseball fans and we thank WKLK for the partnership”

Kerry Rodd, General Manager of WKLK agreed, stating, “It’s great to be part of the Huskies tradition and be able to share the excitement with our local fans”.

The Duluth Huskies Club is one of the twenty teams that comprise the Northwoods League.  The Northwoods League is a developmental league for collegiate ball players.  Huskies General Manager Greg Culver said,” In keeping with the Leagues mission of developing young talent, we have identified four broadcast interns that will handle play by play and color commentary for both the WKLK broadcast and the Northwoods League webcast.  We are pleased to be able to bring the Huskies road games to the local fans who choose not to travel to away games”.

Games will be aired on WKLK-FM 96.5 “Legends Rock” which is owned and operated by the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Games will also be available on the internet free of charge by going to the website  www.northwoodsradio.com and clicking on the Listen Live tab.
