Eau Claire, Wis. – The Eau Claire Express today announced two roster additions to the 2016 roster from a familiar school. Outfielder Erick Migueles and infielder Jared Mang from the University of New Mexico will bring Eau Claire’s roster to 13 just a couple months before opening day.  

Migueles is a freshman originally from Tucson, Ariz. where he was part of a Division II State Championship team at Canyon Del Oro High School as a senior last year. He has played in just under half of the Lobos’ 25 games this spring, starting ten, and has a .290 batting average in 31 at-bats.

Mang is also a freshman for the Lobos. The Los Alamos, N.M. native was a two-time Gatorade New Mexico Player of the Year and five-time First Team All-District selection during his career at Los Alamos High School. The infielder has appeared in 24 games this spring (20 starts) and is batting .273 with a .372 on-base percentage.

The Express begin their twelfth season of play in the Northwoods League at Carson Park on May 31 versus the Rochester Honkers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. in that contest, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Season tickets and 5-Game Packs are on sale now and single-game tickets go on sale on May 2. The all-new 5-Game Pack includes a reserved ticket along with food and beverage for three innings for five of the biggest promotional nights of the 2016 season all for only $45.00. The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
