Director of Operations / Field Manager
Dale has been the Field Manager for the Express since the inaugural 2005 season. The 2010 Northwoods League Manager of the Year has led the Express to the playoffs three times, winning Eau Claire's first NWL Championship in 2010. The Express also reached the Championship Series in 2007 and the Divisional Series in 2009. The 2013 season marked his eighth as the team's Director of Operations.
A native of Marshfied, Wis., Dale is no stranger to Eau Claire baseball, having played a number of years for the Eau Claire Cavaliers. He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, UW-Eau Claire. After a short coaching stint at UW-River Falls, Dale served as the head coach and Director of Facilities at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wis. from 1999-2001.
Dale and his wife Jennifer live in Eau Claire with their three children: Jake, Averie and Christian.
Vic finishes his ninth season as the Express pitching coach in 2013. He brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the Express staff.
Following a standout career at UW-Eau Claire, he set career records for wins, strikeouts, innings pitched and appearances during a 15-year career with the Eau Claire Cavaliers. Vic has served as an assistant coach at Eau Claire Memorial and Chippewa Falls High School, where he continues to teach.
Vic lives in Eau Claire with his wife Pam and daughters Katie and Emma.
1st Base Coach
Miller is no stranger to Eau Claire baseball as he has suited up for the Eau Claire Cavaliers for the past seven years.
The Eau Claire native got his high school diploma from Eau Claire Memorial High School.
He recently finished his first season as the first base coach for the Eau Claire Express.
3rd Base Coach
Vucsko finishes his first season with the Eau Claire Express after a solid playing career at Lewis University.
At Lewis, he was an ABCA Gold Glove Award winner in 2011 after only committing two errors in 170 tries.
Originally from Evergreen Park, Ill., Vucsko graduated with a degree in Criminal Social Justice.
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Kurt returned to the Express in 2013 and brought over 25 years of experience in training and coaching athletes.
A former collegiate wrestler and high school coach from Iowa, he has a Masters degree in Sport Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. In addition, Kurt has five years experience as a Club Fitness Director in Eau Claire.
Kurt was formerly the Owner and Head Conditioning Coach at Momentum Sport Fitness on London Road in Eau Claire. With the Express, he designs and directs the speed and power development program.
