FOND DU LAC, WI – Two Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are scheduled to participate in the 2017 Northwoods League Major League Dreams Showcase on Tuesday, August 8.   Nick Fortes and Brandon Wulff will both be a part of the squad for the game to be played at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin.   The annual Showcase will consist of a double-header featuring the top players from the Northwoods League who were selected by a panel of Major League Baseball Scouts.  The players will participate in a day of workouts in front of scouts which will be followed by the double-header. The Dock Spiders are set to play in the second game which is scheduled for 7:35 PM.

Fortes, a sophomore catcher from Ole Miss, is batting.268 with 2 HR and 19 RBI for the 2017 season.

Wulff, a freshman outfielder from Stanford, is batting.330 with 6 HR and 20 RBI this year.,

 

Group outings and individual game tickets for the 2017 season are on sale now and may be purchased from the Dock Spiders ticket office (located at 980 E Division St.).  Fans may order tickets in person or over the phone by calling (920) 907-9833 between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Tickets are also available any time in the ticket section of dockspiders.com.
