OUR MISSION

“Our team will create the best entertainment experience in Wisconsin so that every guest walks away with a smile and the desire to return.”

The Dock Spiders exist to bring family-friendly entertainment to the city of Fond du Lac and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just looking to have a fun night with family and friends, a Fond du Lac Dock Spiders game will be the place to be!

The first organized baseball team in Fond du Lac began in 1891. Teams have included the Webfoots, Cubs, Giants, Mudhens, Molls, and Panthers which played in several different leagues up until 1953.  Baseball returned to Fond du Lac in 2017 with the formation of the Dock Spiders, a new entry into the Northwoods League.

The Northwoods League is a collegiate summer baseball league comprised of teams made up of top college players from all around the country. Formed in 1994, the league currently has 22 teams located in Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Canada. Teams play 72 games scheduled over a 76-day season running from late May to mid-August.  The Northwoods League has more teams, draws more fans and plays more games than any other summer collegiate baseball league.

The Dock Spiders are the sister team of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, a Minor League Baseball team located 40 miles north of Fond du Lac in Appleton, Wisconsin.  The Timber Rattlers are the single ‘A’ affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and moved up a class to High ‘A’ in 2021.

Since entering the Northwoods League, the Dock Spiders have already won two NWL titles in their four-year existence, the first coming in 2018 and then again in 2020 when the league divided into pods to play a season during the COVID-19 pandemic.
