Seasonal Operations Manager 

The Kenosha Kingfish are seeking a Seasonal Operations Manager for the 2014 season. The Kingfish are the newest members of the summer collegiate Northwoods League. The Kingfish will be bringing affordable, family entertainment to historic Simmons Field and playing 36 games starting in late May and ending mid-August in addition to several special events and catering opportunities. This position will be filled with a variety of tasks throughout pre-season and in-season.

Seasonal Operations Manager Duties:

 – Managing part-time staff and operations interns on gamedays during the summer. This position will have a very important operational role throughout the entire season. 

– Performing pre-season ballpark maintenance and operations duties as assigned by the General Manager. This position will lead interns on ballpark projects as the team prepares for opening day.

–  Preparing and maintaining the field throughout the entire season. This includes preparing the field for high school games, specials events and all home games. Field maintenance training will be provided by Kingfish management.

– Participating in the Kenosha Kingfish pre-season marketing campaign. This position will be actively involved in setting up and executing the pre-season marketing events and will be responsible for attending all appearances.

Additional Information:

Previous field maintenance experience is preferred but definitely not required. A Bachelors degree is required. Interested candidates can expect to work approximately 60-80 hours per week from early April through the middle of August.
