The Loggers were winners Thursday night from Kalamazoo as they down the Growlers 15-12 as the two teams combined to score 27 runs and 28 hits. 

The Loggers had a 15-6 lead going into the bottom of the eighth inning before the Growlers attempted to complete a failed rally.

La Crosse was led in the hitting department by Nash Knight (Dallas Baptist) who went 3-4 with two runs and two RBI's.  Knight belted his third home run of the season as well.  Both Ryne Birk (Texas A&M) and Ryan Kirby (San Diego) both went 2-4 with three RBI's on the night.  Brody Weiss (UC-Santa Barbara) also belted his second home run of the year.

The Loggers and Growlers will battle one more time this year on Friday night in Kalamazoo.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 CT.
