LA CROSSE, WI – After an exciting game the night before against the same team. The Loggers would fall just short and split the series with the Eau Claire Express. Although the Loggers had a more explosive offense, they were unable to score in the later innings of the game resulting in a 4-5 loss.

RHP Garrett Christman (Butler) was the Loggers' starter tonight. He would pitch 4.2 innings allowing five runs on six hits. The performance of the night would go to relief pitcher, LHP Jason Seever (Arizona). Seever did everything he could to get the Loggers back into the game. In 4.1 innings of work, he allowed no runs on no hits and, impressively, struck out seven batters. Unfortunately, the offense would fall short after not being able to produce a run after the fifth inning. The win would go to the Express right-hander, Lane Ramsey, and the save to RHP Victor Chavez.

Totaling eight hits tonight, the Loggers' offense was able to hit, but not able to string enough together in the later innings of the game. Although the Loggers fell tonight, the stars at the plate included Mitchell Morimoto (Arizona) going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and Korey Lee (California) going 3-for-4 with three RBI.
