Grafton, WI – In less than two weeks, Lakeshore Chinooks Manager of Sales, Jacob Nelson, will be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with the 2016 class of Milwaukee's Finest. This is a special event put on by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to recognize young professionals who are making an impact in the community.

As part of the honor, each honoree is challenged to raise $2,500 to help the cause and find a cure for CF. The Chinooks have a tie Cystic Fibrosis as our friend and co-worker from K-Nation Entertainment and Kapco Metal Stamping, Sean Becker, has a son, Jacob, who was born with the disease.

Three and half years ago Sean Becker and his wife Rachel were blessed with the birth of their son Jacob. Shortly after his birth they received news that no parent wants to hear, a diagnosis of CF. Over the years, they have experienced ups and downs including daily breathing treatments, numerous medications, and monthly visits to Children's Hospital. Jacob is a resilient kid who lights up any room he enters and his visits to our office are the highlights of the day.

Jacob has this to say about the challange: "Prior to the Beckers' situation, I did not know anyone affected by the disease personally and in fact I had not even heard of cystic fibrosis. When Sean came to me to ask if I would help with the Milwaukee's Finest event it was a no-brainer. He is always there for myself and my coworkers whenever we need him. Getting involved with this event was a small way for me to thank him for everything that he has done and continues to do to help our office and the community."

Any amount whether it is $5 or $500 will go a long way towards finding a cure and helping kids like Jacob Becker live long and healthy lives. Making a donation is easy and secure!
