Madison, Wis. – The Madison Mallards have announced the signing of two University of North Carolina-Charlotte players, catcher Harris Yett and left-handed pitcher Matt Horkey. The pair are both steady contributors to the 49ers squad and will join the Mallards this summer.

Yett, a 6’0”, 207-pound catcher from Charlotte, N.C. will spend his summer in Madison. Yett, a redshirt sophomore, transferred to UNC Charlotte after a year at Walters State Community College in which he hit .360 with 12 home runs and 68 RBI.
