The Mankato MoonDogs started the second half 3-0, but as the old saying goes, you can't win them all. The Eau Claire Express came to hit and they defeated the MoonDogs 9-2 at Carson Park on a beautiful Saturday night in Wisconsin.

The Express received a big night from Brian Mundell, who finished the night with five RBI.

The MoonDogs loaded the bases in the top of the first, but Eau Claire starter Jeremy Bagnall got out of the jam, giving his team a huge lift heading into the home half of the first.

Mundell picked a three-run triple and the Express never looked back from there as they defeated the MoonDogs 9-2 in the series finale.

Ridge Smith had the only RBI for the MoonDogs.

The MoonDogs travel to Waterloo to face the Bucks on Sunday afternoon at 3:35.
