The Mankato MoonDogs are proud to announce that first baseman Toby Hanson set a MoonDogs record last night with a hit in his twentieth consecutive game.  The previous Mankato record was held by Matt Mann back in 2001.

Since joining the MoonDogs in mid-June, Hanson has hit safely in 26 of his 28 games, and reached base in all but one.  His .443 batting average leads the Northwoods League and his 14 doubles are tied for second.  Hanson will represent the MoonDogs in the Northwoods League All Star Game on Tuesday.
