What’s your favorite memory while playing for the Rochester Honkers?
JPM: Favorite memory is when we’d take pregame BP – and turn BP into a home run derby.

What's your favorite non playing memory from your time with the Rochester Honkers (Host Family, Experience, Bus Ride, etc.)
JPM: My host family was awesome!  Still in touch with them today.  Marnie/Jeff/John/Mary/Grace/Luke Bigler – that family was the highlight of the summer and I’d say 99% of my memories from that summer were times spent with the Bigler family.

Who was your favorite teammate when you played for the Rochester Honkers and why?
JPM: Joe (catcher) – can’t remember his last name.  Played at Wichita State.  Witty, smart-ass kind of guy and we clicked.

What has happened to you since you left Rochester and what are you doing now?
JPM: Worked as a personal trainer in Chicago, IL for 7 years – ran my own business(entrepreneur).  Currently I’m the General Manager for a packaging company in Pleasant Prairie, WI – LMI Packaging Solutions.

What was your biggest realization while playing for the Rochester Honkers?
JPM:
Kinda strange realization, but it was that there were bigger and better things out there for me then baseball.  I realized the life of a bus traveling baseball player may not be what I thought it was.  Great summer – don’t get me wrong, but I missed the city.  I missed the energy, the people, the freedom, made me appreciate Chicago and made me realize that there were things that were more exciting to me than Baseball – which had been life to that point.

Do you stay in contact with former teammates? If so, who?
JPM:
I really don’t – no.
