Fans everywhere and on every device can Watch More Than 650 games

(Rochester, Minn.) – The Northwoods League is pleased to announce a new partnership this summer that will provide fans with more than 650 NWL games streamed live during the 2015 regular and post season on the Northwoods League portal powered by Stretch Internet.

“Stretch Internet will give the Northwoods League more flexibility than we have ever had with regards to providing quality video of our games,” said Northwoods League President Dick Radatz, Jr.

Stretch Internet has been available since 2003 and has partnered with over 500 colleges and universities for their webcasting needs. The Stretch Internet platform will provide new features for Northwoods League viewers such as multi-game viewing options and different viewing modes. The platform will also give the Northwoods League more flexibility with subscription options.

“We’re extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with the Northwoods League and provide their league, their teams and their fans with a first-class digital platform,” said Stretch Internet President and CEO Ryan Ermeling. “The Northwoods League continually sets the bar for other summer collegiate baseball leagues. Our product and service aligns perfectly with their philosophy and their dedication to excellence and we look forward to a long relationship."

The Northwoods League season will lead off with opening night on Tuesday, May 26, with 16 of the 18 teams in action. The eight games on opening night will feature the 2014 defending Summer Collegiate World Series Champion Lakeshore Chinooks against the Battle Creek Bombers from C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek. The Bombers mascot Moe Skeeter and C.O. Brown Stadium have recently been prominently displayed during the opening credits of the new CBS drama ‘Battle Creek’ starring Josh Duhamel along with Dean Winters. The series is written by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.

Throughout the season, Northwoods League fans won’t miss a moment of live regular and post season action as all of the league’s games will be available either online through your PC or on mobile devices and tablets. Fans can also access archived versions of the live games to view on demand shortly after the conclusion of each game. Other available content will include highlights and pre and post-game recaps from the league’s studio in Rochester, MN.

The Rochester Honkers 22nd season begins on May 26th when the Mankato MoonDogs bark into Mayo Field for a 7:05pm first pitch.  Season Tickets, Bonus Books, Suites and Patios are now available.
