After taking the first game of the season in yesterday's action, the Rox dropped game 2 of the series tonight by a final score of 4-2 against the Kenosha Kingfish.

Joe Tiejen got things going right away in the first inning for the Rox as he walked to leadoff the game. He later came around to score on an error by Kingfish second basemen Nick Sergakis.

Andrew Sykes and Jesse Anderson combined to go five innings for the Rox and allowed only one run on five hits, as the game was tied 1-1 after five innings.

In the sixth, Kingfish leftfielder Eric Filia hit a timely 2 out-2 RBI double to break the tie and handed the Rox their first deficit of the season.

The Rox got a run back in the 7th, before giving one back in the bottom half of the 8th, and they trailed heading into the final frame 4-2.

In the 9th inning, the Rox began a rally and gave themselves a chance with runners on the corners with only one out, but the rally fell short as they were unable to score a run in their last at-bats.

The Rox will be in action again tomorrow night in Green Bay against the Bullfrogs. Listen live online at www.1390thefan.com
