Now Hiring – Summer Interns
The Rox seek talented hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join their staff during the summer months as part of the Rox Internship Program. The Rox, members of the Northwoods League play a 72 game season which includes 36 home games. Internships run from early/mid May through mid-August. The Rox will begin holding interviews starting in late fall and will continue to do so until all positions are full. Each season the Rox Internship Program gives college students the opportunity to become an integral part of day to day operations of the organization. Over the course of the summer, interns will be given the opportunity to learn in numerous areas. These areas include but are not limited to ticket and merchandise sales, customer service, hospitality, promotions, and stadium operations. Though each internship is given primary responsibilities, individuals will develop skills in all of these areas over the course of the season.
Currently six Northwoods League teams have ownership from former St. Cloud interns! Former St. Cloud interns have also gone on to work in the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, Indy 500, NCAA teams and various minor league and summer collegiate league baseball teams.
"The Rox internship was one of the most valuable experiences I have ever had. I have no doubt that I would not be in the position I am today without it, and I would strongly recommend the Rox to anyone looking for a well-rounded experience." – Jerry Wacholz, 2015 intern employed by the Minnesota Timberwolves after his internship
"The Rox organization was a building block to where I am today, both in my career as well as in life." – Eric Kupka, 2013 intern currently serving as the University of North Dakota Men's Hockey Head Equipment Manager.
This is an unpaid internship. All interns will receive a living expense stipend. All interns must receive college credit for the Rox internship OR be directly supervised by a professor or advisor from their accredited academic degree program at a university, college or vocational institution during the time of their Rox internship.
