The Waterloo Bucks crushed the Thunder Bay Border Cats 11-6 on Tuesday afternoon in action at TBaytel Park. An 8-run 4th inning was enough run support for Bucks Starting Pitcher Eric Veglahn. Veglahn went seven innings for the win (2-0) allowing a two run home run, his only blemish, as he allowed four hits and struck out four.

For the Border Cats Jordan Serena (Columbia University) mashed the homer that was Veglahn let up. Adam Collins (Central Michigan) had a two-hit night including a double and Cory Kay (Missouri State) drove in a run in the 9th.

Michael Daley (Kean University) took the loss for the Border Cats dropping to 1-3.

Thunder Bay will play a day-night two city double header versus Duluth. Game one will be at TBaytel Park starting at 12:05pm. While Game two will be at Wade Stadium at 8:05 EDT/7:05 CST.
