NOLAN – VON RUDEN LEAD CATS TO VICTORY

Nate Nolan (St. Mary’s) hit his team leading fourth home run of the season, a three run shot in the bottom of the 8th inning, to power the Border Cats to a come from behind 5-3 win over the Rochester Honkers Thursday night at TBaytel Park.

Nolan's big hit made a winner out of Kyle Von Ruden (University of Hawaii), who fired a complete game four hitter. VonRuden allowed a total of three runs on four hits while striking out six.

The Cats look to sweep the Honkers Friday night at TbayTel Park at 7:05pm EST.
