CATS FALL IN EXTRA INNINGS            

The Cats fell 3-2 to the Rochester Honkers after going 10 innings at TbayTel Park Tuesday night.

Jared James (Long Beach) put Thunder Bay on the board in the fifth inning with a two run home run bringing home Matt Batten (Quinnipiac). The Cats held the Honkers off for nine innings but fell in the tenth inning after Matt Fielder’s (Minnesota) RBI brought home William Paschal (Georgia Gwinnet). James picked up a total of two RBI’s on two hits with one run.

Donnie Sellers (Wake Forest) took the loss for the Cats going the last three innings giving up only one run on three hits and striking out three while starting pitcher Johnny York (St. Mary’s of CA) pitched the first seven innings allowing only two runs on five hits while striking out for.

The Cats hope to split the series Wednesday night at 7:05pm EST at TbayTel Park.
