CATS SWEEP RAFTERS
Dan Rizzie (Xavier) had two doubles and drove in five runs as the Border Cats completed two-game sweep of Wisconsin Rapids by sinking the Rafters 11-4 at TbayTel Park.
Carter McEachern (Trinity) added two hits and two RBI's and Matt Batten (Quinnipiac) also collected a pair of hits in the win.
Johnny York (St. Mary’s) pitched five innings and survived some shaky defence to up his record to 2 and 1. Kenny Glover Jr. (Savannah) pitched out of a bases loaded, none out jam in the 6th inning and tossed four scoreless innings for his first save of the season.
The win improves Thunder Bay's second half record to 7 and 14 and 23 and 32 overall.
