THUNDER BAY ADDS TWO FROM RIDGEWATER

Thunder Bay Border Catss have added a pair of players from Ridgewater College in Willmar Minnesota to their 2016 line up including, Thunder Bay native Cooper Lamke.

Third baseman Cooper Lamke (Ridgewater) is in his sophomore year with the Warriors and has notched 17 runs on 24 hits in 33 games while picking up 10 RBI. Lamke will be one of two local players joining the 2016 Border Cats roster.

Fellow sophomore and right-handed pitcher Jordan Thompson (Ridgewater) has 40.2 innings on the mound striking out 24 averaging 5.31 strikeouts per game.

The Border Cats open their season at home against the Mankato Moondogs on May 31st at 7:05pm at TbaytTel Park.
