CATS CATCH THEIR FIRST WIN

Thunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border Cats picked up their first win Thursday night in Willmar, MN against the Stingers.

Newcomer Joey Burris (Southeast Missouri) notched his first win with the Cats allowing only two hits over 2.2 innings while striking out five. Catcher Robert Boselli (Mercer County) helped the Cats to victory with three runs on three hits while picking up three RBI’s. Shane Shepard (North Carolina) also put up three runs on three hits.

The Cats look for their second win of the season in Willmar at 7:05pm CST / 8:05pm EST.
