Dan Corbin – General Manager

corbin-dan-resizedDan Corbin, the 2008 Northwoods League Executive of the Year, enters his 17th year in the NWL, 15th season in the Bucks front office, and 11th as General Manager of the team.  Prior to taking the helm of the Bucks, Corbin worked as the team’s Assistant General Manager / Director of Media Relations from 2002-2005.

Corbin received his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Electronic Media from the University of Northern Iowa where he interned with the Bucks during the 1997 and 1999 seasons.  After receiving his undergrad degree, Corbin attended the University of Texas where he graduated with a master’s degree in Sport Management.  Corbin worked as the Assistant Facilities Coordinator of the Athletics Department at Western Kentucky University after the completion of his graduate program until he was hired by the Bucks.  

During his time with the Bucks, Corbin has been a part of an NWL Championship, established the Bucks Baseball Hall of Fame, designed the current Bucks Internship Program, and coordinated a team logo change.  

Dan resides in Cedar Falls with his wife, Tyllie, and five-year old son, Shea.

Clayton Grandquist – Assistant General Manager / Tickets & Stadium Operations Manager


On January 9, 2014, the Waterloo Bucks announced the hiring of Clayton Grandquist as the team’s new Assistant General Manager.

Grandquist, a former Bucks intern, is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing in December of 2013.  While at Iowa, Grandquist was the Vice President of the Hawkeye Sports Business Organization.

The summer of 2013 saw Grandquist as a Customer Relations intern with the Bucks.  In that role, Grandquist assisted with coordinating sponsorship fulfillment and partner appreciation events, game operations, and organized game day partner appearances.

Morgan Hawk – Sales & Broadcasting Manager

hawk-morgan - 2Morgan Hawk joins the Bucks from the team's sister club, the Cedar Rapids Kernels, as Waterloo's Sales & Broadcasting Manager.  Since joining the team in late-September of 2015, Hawk has been responsible for coordinating the day to day sales efforts in the Bucks front office and acting as a liaison between the Waterloo and Cedar Rapids offices.

Morgan has been with the Cedar Rapids Ball Club Inc. for four years as a Sales Executive/Radio Broadcaster for the Kernels.  Hawk resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife Jill.

Ben Knaack – Community Relations Manager

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOn January 7, 2016, the Waterloo Bucks announced the hiring of Ben Knaack as the team's Community Relations Manager.  Knaack is a former Bucks intern from 2014 and is originally from Grinnell, Iowa.

Ben graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations.  In his role with the Bucks, Ben will be heavily involved in promoting the organization through player and mascot appearances, facilitating the Bucks Summer Reading Program, and will also be selling group outings as a member of the sales team.  Ben resides in Cedar Falls.
