Willmar, Minn. – The Willmar Stingers, Willmar Conference Center & Green Mill are excited to bring the popular band Fabulous Armadillos to Willmar. The Fabulous Armadillos, along with Collective Unconscious, will be performing their “Takin' It To The Limit: An Eagles Tribute” show in March. This event will be their debut show in the Willmar Lakes Area.

The Fabulous Armadillos concert will begin at 8:00 PM on Friday, March 18th at the Willmar Conference Center. General admission tickets are $25 (plus taxes & fees) and can now be purchased via willmarstingers.com or at two locations in Willmar, Westside Liquor and the Best Western.

The idea of the Fabulous Armadillos started with a diverse group of musicians who came together to perform "themed" concerts at the Pioneer Place On Fifth Theater in St. Cloud, MN. With themes like "One Hit Wonders", "Woodstock", "Motown", "Stadium Rock" and more, the band is sure have music that anyone will enjoy. Included in the band’s repertoire are three different tribute shows as well: "Takin' It To The Streets: A Doobie Brothers Tribute”, "Takin' It To The Limit: An Eagles Tribute" (both with Collective Unconscious) and "Floydian Slip: A Pink Floyd Tribute”.

The Willmar Stingers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
