EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Willmar Stingers' six-game win streak came to an end Wednesday afternoon at Carson Park in Eau Claire, dropping the game 13-7.

The Stingers scored six runs in the eighth inning but were ultimately unable to tie up the game after giving up runs in six of the eight innings they faced the Express.

Reichenborn finished the day with a single and a walk and made a diving catch in right field to end the sixth inning.

The Stingers move to 13-6 on the second half and 31-24 overall. They hold on to first place, now just ahead of the Eau Claire Express by one game. First pitch of game two is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. from Carson Park. Cameron Churchill (Nova Southeastern) is expected to start at 7:05 p.m.
