The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters have announced the winners of Rosco's Thanksgiving Frozen Turkey Giveaway. Fans were able to submit nominations via email and mail to Rosco P. Rafter through Friday, November 21st. In the nominations they had to describe why they were thankful, and why they or someone else were deserving of the Thanksgiving staple cuisine. Mary Cauley and Barb Fraser, both of Wisconsin Rapids were chosen as the winners of the frozen turkeys this year.

Mary Cauley has been attending baseball games at Witter Field for decades, and has been a loyal Rafters fans since the teams introduction in 2010. At 92 years old she isn't quite able to make as many Rafters games as she would like, but still makes sure to tune in to AM 1320 WFHR, the radio home for every Rafters game to catch all the action.

Barb Fraser has continued to play a vital role in the Wisconsin Rapids community, whether it be volunteering at Head Start or acting as Troop Leader for a local Girl Scout Troop, she always has a smile on her face and is willing to help others in any way she can.

Congratulations to the winners, and Rosco would like to wish all Rafters fans a Happy Thanksgiving.
