Rafters Announce World Series Championship Themed Giveaways

First-ever World Series Championship Blanket to be Given Away to All Fans in Attendance on Sunday, June 11th

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.-Coming off of the franchise’s first Summer Collegiate World Series Championship, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are thrilled to announce some promotional giveaways for the 2017 season that will commemorate the team’s World Series feat.

Last week, the Rafters announced they have partnered with Paul Gross Jewelers to hold an Opening Day scavenger hunt on Tuesday, May 30th as the Rafters host the Kenosha Kingfish. All fans will have an opportunity to hunt for hidden medallions around the ballpark upon entrance into the stadium. Anyone who finds a medallion will be able to exchange it at the Fan Services booth for their very own World Series Championship replica ring. Opening Day will also feature a balloon artist, face painting, and the team will unveil the 2016 World Series Championship banner prior to the game. The Rafters will host the expansion Fond du Lac Dock Spiders for the first time on Friday, June 2nd at 7:05. The first fans through the gates that night will receive a commemorative Rosco P. Rafter Bobblehead with the Championship Trophy, courtesy of Advanced Disposal.

The Madison Mallards make their first trip to Witter Field on Sunday, June 11th for a 1:05 day game. Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics will be the presenting sponsor of the first-ever stadium blanket giveaway featuring the Summer Collegiate World Series Championship logo. All fans in attendance will receive the promotional giveaway.
