Wausau, Wis. – The Northwoods League schedule for the 2015 season was released Tuesday. The Wisconsin Woodchucks will open the 2015 season with a three-game road trip and play five of their first eight games away from Athletic Park. The Woodchucks first home game is Friday, May 29th at Athletic Park first pitch set for 7:05pm.

The Woodchucks, who qualified for the playoffs last season, have a 72 game schedule with 36 home games, including a five-game stretch at Athletic Park in August to close out the regular season.  Wisconsin has games scheduled for 34 straight days to open the season before the first day off on June 29.

The League, which plays two halves to determine playoff participants, will end the first half of play on June 30 with the second half beginning the following day.  The first and second half division winners from both the North and South divisions will meet in a best-of-three Divisional Playoff Series from August 10-12. The North and South Division Champions will then meet in a best-of-three series for the Summer Collegiate World Series from August 13-15.
