Two 7-6 victories in doubleheader

 

Kenosha, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks (22-29, 9-7 Second Half) triumphed twice over the Kenosha Kingfish (20-32, 4-12 Second Half), in a doubleheader Sunday at Simmons Field in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Both games finished 7-6 in favor of the Woodchucks

Steele Walker (Oklahoma) extended his franchise record hitting streak to 22 games with a three-run double and a run scored in the Woodchucks' four-run third inning in game one, and a fifth inning single in game two. 

Devin Skapura (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) collected the win in game one, his fourth of the year, with five strikeouts and no walks in six innings of work. Alex Lewandowski (Northwood University) won game two with a scoreless inning of relief.
 
Gordon Cardenas (Auburn) saved both games, pushing his season total to nine.
 
Jared Oliva (Arizona) put the 'Chucks up for good in game one with a seventh inning RBI double to center, and he came in to score the eventual game-winning run himself.
 
In game two, Jonathan Foster (Auburn) knocked a three-run homer over the left field fence to put the 'Chucks up 4-0 in the second inning. He finished 2-3 with three RBI and two runs scored.
