Woodchucks Start Final Homestand of the 2016 Season

Wausau, WIS- The Wisconsin Woodchucks kick off their final homestand of the season on Thursday with a 6:35 p.m. contest against the Kenosha Kingfish.

The gates open at 5:35 p.m. on Thursday.  It is Olympic night at the ballpark, make sure to wear your favorite country and/or Olympic team apparel.  The first 1000 fans will receive a Team USA Pole Vault Woody Woodchuck bobblehead, courtesy of Peoples State Bank.

Thursdays are also Thickburger Thursdays presented by Hardee’s.  The first 500 fans will receive a free Thickburger coupon.

The series against the Kingfish will come to a close on Friday, August 12.  First pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.  Friday is also the last Firework and Fish Fry Friday of the 2016 Woodchucks season.  The fireworks show is presented by Time Federal Savings Bank.

Tickets for all home games can be purchased online, at woodchucks.com, by calling the Front Office at 715.845.5055, or by stopping by the Front Office (300 3rd St. Suite 305, Wausau WI 54402) anytime between 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Tickets may also be purchased at the gates the night of the games.  The Woodchucks are looking forward to wrapping up the summer fun with our fans at Athletic Park.
