(St. Cloud, MN)The St. Cloud River Bats have announced the release of a new online ticketing system set to launch on Friday, April 2.
This new system will allow for much more fan convenience as they plan to head out to a River Bats game in 2010. Fans can print tickets at home, select their exact spot and shop 24 hours a day for tickets.
“Our new ticketing system is a top of the line system that’s really in place to help the fan avoid many ticketing issues that currently occur.” Director of business operations Wes Sharp said. “You can select the best available seat any time of the day in real time, and then print the ticket at home to bypass any lines that may be at the ballpark.”
The new system will be available starting Friday, April 2 and will be on the River Bats website (www.RiverBats.com). The link will be found in the tickets page of their site.
There’s also an opportunity for promotional codes to be found through the online ticketing system.
“We plan on having promotions through our social networking sites (facebook and twitter) where we release a code exclusively through those sites.” Sharp said. “Any fan who has already joined us via facebook and twitter will have an opportunity for a discounted ticket because of this option.”
In the past the River Bats have had to wait until early May to begin their ticket sales. The release date wouldn’t be until a couple of weeks before the season when all the tickets arrive. That will still hold true in some regard, the River Bats don’t plan on being able to print tickets until sometime in early May.
However, with the new online ticketing system fans can begin purchasing tickets online starting Friday, April 2.
“We hope this adds to the fan experience at the ballpark this summer.” Sharp said. “This should make things exponentially more convenient and easy for all River Bats fans.”
The River Bats open up their season on Thursday, June 3rd at Willmar against the newly formed Willmar Stingers organization. They open up Joe Faber Field for the first time on Saturday, June 5th when they play host to the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers.
