Video Subscription
Every ballpark is equipped with 4-camera HD video production to support live streaming of games for friends and family to enjoy.  Additionally, games are archived to allow on-demand access for game review by players and coaches. All half and full season players receive a subscription to the Northwoods League video platform which allows access to games Live and On Demand.

Trackman Data
Trackman radars are installed in several ballparks across both divisions, providing coverage for players throughout the season.  All half and full season players receive daily access to data collected during league games. Player data is also made available to all MLB teams.

3-Person Umpire Crews
The NWL provides the highest level of commitment to officiating outside of Triple-A and Double-A baseball, with 3-person crews and three umpire supervisors training and evaluating umpires throughout the season.

All-Star Game and Major League Dreams Showcase
Players have two opportunities to participate in showcase events for MLB scouts with the annual All-Star Game and Major League Dreams Showcase.  Players for the All-Star Game are voted in by team coaches and media, while the Major League Dreams Showcase features players selected by a committee of MLB Scouts.

Game Action
A 72-game season provides plenty of opportunities for at-bats and innings; and for those looking to get drafted, a chance to replicate the minor league experience. 35-man rosters allow for more opportunities to play, plus depth at pitching. Strict pitching guidelines provide additional protections for pitchers.

Ballpark Atmosphere
Northwoods League ballparks are entertainment centers in their communities, drawing more than one million fans annually. This commitment to the fan experience creates a buzz in our ballparks that can be felt by players and coaches – making a summer in The ‘Woods a memorable one.
