Opening Day is Friday, July 17th .
THANK YOU for your patience, understanding, and support over the last few months. The Battle Creek Bombers, in conjunction with Battle Creek Parks and Recreation, The City of Battle Creek, Calhoun County Public Health Department, Calhoun County Visitor Bureau and the Northwoods League, are excited to unveil our plan for safe, FUN Northwoods League baseball.
This plan includes 3 teams (the Battle Creek Bombers, Kalamazoo Mac Daddies, and Kalamazoo Growlers), 20 games in Battle Creek and C.O. Brown Stadium, 40 home games at Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, and a reduced ballpark capacity in both locations.

The Bombers are also taking steps, in consultation with state and local health authorities, to provide a safe and enjoyable experience at C.O. Brown Stadium that minimizes the risk of exposure upon reopening for players, coaches, employees, and fans. There are currently active cases of COVID-19 in Calhoun County. COVID-19 is a respiratory virus. Most people who are infected with COVID-19 develop mild or moderate symptoms, but some people develop severe complications, including hospitalization or death. Anyone in attendance may be exposed to COVID-19, and all persons attending a game assume the risk of contracting COVID-19. Along with the Bombers Readiness Plan, we encourage everyone to follow state and federal guidelines, including social distancing hand washing, and the required use of face coverings while moving through shared areas in the ballpark to minimize the risk of contracting and/or spreading COVID-19.
