It went down to the wire, but they did just that.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDillion Engle (College of Lake County) got his second start of the year for the Bombers and he did not disappoint. He went six strong innings and gave up just one run to a Bullfrogs team that came into Battle Creek red hot on a five game winning streak.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;I&rsquo;m going to give all the credit to Murph, he&rsquo;s really helped me out this last week and tonight was the result&rdquo; said Engle following the game.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Bullfrogs got on the board first, in the top of the fourth, a two-out walk was driven in by a triple off of the bat of Ivan Vieitez.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Bombers left the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth but went right back to work and plated a run in the sixth when Sebastian Diaz (Univ. of Miami) squared up a pitch and sent it flying into right-center field. Cody Kuzinczci (Northern Kentucky) scored all the way from first to even the game at one.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;It felt great to be able to hit the ball hard today&rdquo; commented Diaz after another great day at the plate for the Hurricane.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGarrett Anderson (St. Cloud State) got his first appearance of the year with the Bombers and saw the Bullfrogs sneak one past the Bombers defense to take the lead 2-1 in the top of the eighth.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn the bottom half of the eighth the Bombers took what was theirs. The Bombsquad tied up the game on a sacrifice bunt by Brendan Collins (Columbus State) where he reached safely on an error. Anthony Cheky (Michigan State) snuck a high chopper up the middle that scored two runs and put the Bombers up 4-2.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Bullfrogs would not go down without a fight, however. They were able to get one in the 9<sup>th<\/sup> but that would be it. Collins gunned down the potential tying run from left at the plate on and displayed his terrific arm in the process.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Bombers went on to win 4-3, sweeping the Bullfrogs.
