Battle Jacks and MCCU to Host Free Community Tailgate<\/p>\n
BATTLE CREEK, MI: The Battle Creek Battle Jacks (Battle Jacks) and Marshall Community Credit Union
\n(MCCU) are thrilled to invite fans of all ages to a free community tailgate on Saturday, June 21. The tailgate,
\nhosted at MCCU\u2019s Battle Creek branch, is set to take place from 10 am to 1 pm.
\nThe family-friendly event will feature free food, ticket giveaways, and autograph opportunities with Battle Jacks
\nplayers. In addition to meeting the players, fans can enjoy a wide range of activities for all ages\u2014including a
\nbounce house, face painting, and a chance to dunk a Battle Jacks player in the dunk tank. Guests can also
\nenter to win exciting door prizes or game tickets throughout the event
\nAs a special bonus, the first 200 fans will receive an exclusive MCCU x Battle Jacks bucket hat\u2014a limited-
\nedition collectible only available at the tailgate.
\n\u201cThis tailgate is all about celebrating our fans and the community that supports us,\u201d said Brody Conaty, Battle
\nJacks General Manager. \u201cHolding this event outside of MCCU Field provides a free, fun event where attendees
\ncan meet and mingle with the players \u2013 a unique opportunity for fans. Conaty added, \u201cThe event also provides
\nan opportunity for one of our founding partners, MCCU, to provide engaging experiences to members and fans
\nalike.\u201d
\nMCCU\u2019s Laura Van Dyke, Financial Education Specialist, added: \u201cIt\u2019s become one of our favorite summer
\nevents. Each year, we see attendance grow. It\u2019s a family-friendly event and on a hot Saturday morning in June,
\nthe dunk tank is always a favorite\u2014hearing everyone cheer when someone hits the target is the best part.\u201d
\nThe event will be held directly at MCCU\u2019s Battle Creek location, located at 1157 East Michigan Ave., and
\nprovides a perfect day for baseball fans as the Battle Jacks\u2019 evening matchup against the Rockford Rivets is at
\nhome at 6:35 pm at MCCU Field. The game also features Kids TV Takeover Night, presented by Grace Health,
\nand fans can enter to win tickets to the game during the tailgate.
