RBI hits from Thomas Cooper and AJ Lucas helped Battle Creek regain the lead and take a 3-1 advantage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Battle Jacks continued to build momentum in the sixth inning, adding three more runs behind RBI contributions from Larrigan and Kyle Hartmann to extend the lead to 6-1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Battle Creek added two insurance runs in the seventh as Brendan Thompson and Thomas Cooper crossed the plate, pushing the lead to 8-1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Kingfish trimmed the deficit in the eighth, but the Battle Jacks put the game out of reach with a four-run response, carrying a 12-2 lead into the ninth inning.<\/p>\n<p>Kenosha scored twice in the final frame, but the comeback attempt fell short as Battle Creek secured a convincing 12-4 victory.<\/p>\n<p><b>About the Battle Jacks &amp; the Northwoods League<\/b><\/p>\n<p><u><\/u><u><\/u>The Battle Creek Battle Jacks are a proud member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
