For the         Zips, he currently has a 4.15 ERA with 20 strikeouts through six         starts. He has         been named the Mid-Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Week three         times over the         course of his career with the Zips. Enrolled in Akron\u2019s School         of Education,         Loftin is majoring in Exercise Science.<\/p>\n<p>Alex         spent the 2010 summer with the Edenton Steamers of the Coastal         Plain League and         was ranked in the league\u2019s \u201cTop 35 Prospects\u201d by Perfect Game         Crosschecker, the         definitive source on collegiate summer baseball.<\/p>\n<p>The         Bombers are set to begin their 5<sup>th<\/sup> season on June 1,         2011 in the         Prestigious Northwoods League.
